The Wisconsin Hunter & Jumper Association (WHJA), established in 1964, supports the hunter/jumper community in Wisconsin through communication, education, participation, and recognition of members’ achievements. The WHJA offers hunter/jumper equestrians the opportunity to compete in horse shows throughout the Midwest and earn points towards our prestigious year-end recognition awards and trophies.
The annual year-end WHJA Awards banquet is a highly anticipated event that recognizes the hard work and achievements of both A circuit and local member riders and horses during the past year. Visit our site often for updated information about WHJA events and activities.

Our Mission
The Mission of the WHJA is to promote and support the education and sportsmanship, through competitive showing of horses and their riders in the Hunter/Jumper discipline in Wisconsin. This is achieved through encouraging and assisting in the conduct, atmosphere, locations, and volunteer opportunities for friendly competition. The WHJA looks to recognize the rider and horse as an athletic team and to promote the equestrian as a valid member of a recognized sport.
Volunteer
We’re always looking for volunteers to assist us at events and barns from around the area are likewise, looking for helpers throughout the year!
